What you can expect.

Learning our products, how to configure the controls hardware and how to program our controls systems

Creation and editing of customer-oriented visualizations

Connecting our systems to customer MES/PDA systems

Program and System testing

Coordination of PLC concepts both internally and with customers

Project and process documentation

Travel: 5 - 10%

What we are looking for.

Qualification: Associates or Bachelors Degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or comparable degree or formal training in programming.

Work Experience: New graduates are welcome to apply, 1 to 2 years of work experience in a related field is preferred. Experience with Beckhoff controls and PLC programming in IEC 61131-3 (object-oriented extension) structured text as well as experience with C# is needed. Experience in PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, SQL is a plus. Understanding of PLCs, motion control, robotics, distributed I/O, fieldbus systems (EtherCAT) and HMI technologies. Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Technical know-how: Visual Studio and/or object-oriented programming in automation, motion control experience. Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics as well as working with low voltage controls systems. Basic electronics and measurement skills.

Language-Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skill

Additional Requirements: Self-starter with a results-driven personality. Strong analytical and reasoning skills to participate in a fast-paced, action-oriented team.

Soft-Skills: Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, ability to multi task, ability to work in a team environment.
