Nestled in picturesque vineyards along medieval villages, Weikersheim is located in the Franconian-influenced northeast of Baden Württemberg. In addition to numerous free-time opportunities in the surrounding nature, you can also enjoy our culinary delights - various wine taverns and restaurants invite you to stop by. You prefer a more urban environment? No problem - Würzburg as a university city is also only about 30 minutes away by car.

Weikersheim
Already on the way to Weikersheim the imposing renaissance castle catches the eye. It's worth taking a walk through the beautiful old town or visiting the observatory along the planetary path. The philharmonic hall, built in 2019, allows a wide range of activities for all culture lovers. You should not miss the traditional town festival the so-called Kärwe, which takes place every year at the beginning of September. We also visit the festival together with all our colleagues.

Bad Mergentheim
Bad Mergentheim is also located on the romantic road in our Tauber valley. In the beautiful old town with its half-timbered houses you can stroll around or simply enjoy a scoop of ice cream in the spa gardens. A visit to the nearby wild park with the largest wolf pack in Europe is also worthwhile.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber
The town of Rothenburg is internationally known as a symbol of medieval Germany and attracts numerous visitors every year. Narrow towers and imposing city walls, winding streets and picturesque oriels invite you to stroll.
We recommend a bike tour in combination with the local bike bus through the lovely Tauber valley from Rothenburg to Weikersheim. In Rothenburg you should definitely try a "Schneeball", a typical pastry for the city.

Würzburg
Würzburg is a famous university town and known for its baroque and rococo style buildings. The "Marienberg Fortress" towers high above the city. We recommend a boat trip on the river "Main" or a "Brückenschoppen" on the old Main Bridge. By the way, many of our employees come from Würzburg, as it is easy to reach with the main road in just over 30 minutes.
