The future of mobility is electric! Electromobility also known as E-Mobility, is the key to a climate-friendly future and also one of the greatest challenges of our time. Electrically powered vehicles generate significantly less CO2 and thus contribute to climate protection. More and more electric and hybrid vehicles are being registered worldwide.

Impregnation

Trickle impregnation of rotors and stators 

Resin varnishing, also called trickle impregnation with our precise dispensing technology and a matching resin system increases heat dissipation, boosts performance, and etc.

Powder coating of stators

Trickle impregnation technology is combined with powder coating to protect the welding zones of hairpin or I-pin stators from external influences.

Magnets in the rotor must be fixed. With our dispensing machines we offer the Magnet bonding process.

Stator busbar potting

Busbars on the stator are cast with an electro-potting resin. For a large German Tier1 supplier, bdtronic developed a complete fully automated production line.

Dispensing

On-Board Chargers (OBC)

The application of a thermally conductive material prevents the component from overheating. The sensitive electronics located in the OBC must be protected from moisture. With a potting application the electronic components are sealed and protected.

Application of thermal interface materials (TIM) for an optimal thermal management. Bonding of lids and housings and many other dispensing applications.

Heat staking of busbars to housing in DC/DC-converters and inverters 

Joining using heat staking technology, of the busbar to the housing is gentle to the electronic parts.

Before the adhesive is applied, the battery cells are pretreated with plasma to activate and clean the surface. This achieves the best possible and long-term stable adhesion.
